a2z, Inc. Earns 2009 Innovation Award

a2z, Inc., a developer of online event management and marketing software, has received a prestigious 2009 Innovation Award for the development of ChirpE, a portal that brings together show organizers, event attendees and social media services on all major brands of smart phones.
ChirpE was designed specifically for use in a trade show environment with a built-in RSS- enabled buzz broadcasting feature, and integrates with Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn and other social networking sites. Show organizers use ChirpE as a means to broadcast announcements and information to attendees during the show. Attendees use this tool to view conference program schedules and expo plans, and to search for specific exhibitors, products, and services. ChirpE gives users the opportunity to sync their personal agenda with their profile on the event website and stay current with schedule changes and important announcements in real time.
This is the 7th year in which Trade Show Executive magazine, the premier publication for trade show and event executives, has cast the spotlight on groundbreaking technologies that improve the efficiency and productivity of trade shows. The Innovation Awards are given yearly to “organizations whose creative energy has yielded new value for exhibitors, attendees, and the exposition industry as a whole.” The award recipients were chosen by a panel of independent judges.
