a2z, Inc. Hires Wayne Crawford as Vice President of Sales
Columbia, MD (February 10, 2009) – a2z, Inc. announces that Wayne Crawford has joined the organization as Vice President of Sales. With nearly 25 years of diverse exposition management experience, Crawford will lead the company’s efforts in selling a comprehensive suite of software and services to the exposition industry.

Crawford most recently served as Executive Director of NXTcomm, where he led the launch of the new company and event for the telecommunications and broadband industries. In addition, Crawford held leadership roles in three of the country’s largest shows – NAB Las Vegas, the world’s largest electronic media event, where he served as vice president of sales; the Consumer Electronics Show as group director; and the JCK Jewelry shows as vice president/show director were he led the launch team. Crawford also served as vice president of Matrix Registration and vice president of sales & marketing for ARI, Inc.; both companies were suppliers of registration and technology services for the exposition and meetings industry.
Crawford holds a Bachelor of Science degree in business marketing from the University of Maryland. He is actively involved in the International Association for Exhibitions and Events (IAEE) and is a frequent speaker at IAEE, PCMA and SISO events.
