a2z taps Kepnes as director of salesEvents industry veteran will manage sales to non-profit and independent organizers in U.S. and abroad
Columbia, MD – a2z, Inc., a developer of online, event management and marketing software, announces that Beth Hays Kepnes has joined the organization as director of sales. A 20-year veteran in the events and association management industries, Kepnes will manage new business development efforts as well as build the company’s sales organization nationally and internationally.

"Her successful track record indicates her expertise in understanding the needs of show organizers, and, more important, she has the technical knowledge to demonstrate how a2z’s line of services and client support can meet those needs."
Kepnes comes to a2z from Expovision Convention Housing where she was director of sales and marketing. At Expovision, a convention housing firm based in Falls Church, Va., she secured several major proposal opportunities and booked new national recurring accounts. Prior to Expovision, Kepnes spent several years in various sales and marketing roles including national sales executive at GES Exposition Services and its subsidiaries and was also a producer at the American Bankers Association.

A Certified Meeting Professional with a Certification for Exhibition Management, Kepnes has completed the Business Management and E-Commerce Executive Program at Georgetown University and holds a bachelor’s degree from Purdue University. She is a member of the International Association for Exhibitions and Events and the Professional Convention Management Association.
