a2z, Inc. and NAB Show win Gold 2011 Event Technology Award

COLUMBIA, Maryland (December 28, 2011) - a2z, Inc., a developer of web-based, event management and marketing software has received recognition as NAB Show’s technology partner at the inaugural Event Technology Awards, established to recognize the power of integrating technology across events and trade shows.

Produced by four Red 7 Media properties, the Event Technology Awards recognized NAB Show for the 2011 myNAB Show® for “Best Use of Technology to Build Event/Show Attendance.” The 2011 NAB Show used many a2z modules and solutions, but the recognition went to a2z’s Networking & Lead Management platform that enabled NAB to streamline processes, consolidate data management, eliminate paperwork and facilitate better communication between exhibitors and attendees.

The technology enabled a2z to integrate with the NAB Show registration databases, generate up-to-date dynamic lists of attendees and exhibitors in real-time, and send out emails with highly targeted communications that included passwords, secure sign on links and personalized recommendations based on profile information collected at registration point.

The marketing campaign to both exhibitors and attendees helped drive strong myNAB Show usage with instructions and videos on how to make the most of the features on myNAB Show. NAB Show also used social media messages for regular updates and alerts to the 2011 NAB Show participants.
