a2z and Hannover Fairs USA Integrate Systems
Linking Databases Reduces Work and Hassle
(Columbia, MD)— a2z Inc., a provider of web-based software used to manage and market events, today announced that Exchangeworld.net, a web portal run by Hannover Fairs USA, Inc. (HFUSA) and powered by a2z's technology, now shares data with HFUSA's in-house contact management and accounting systems.
The Exchangworld.net website provides industry specific information and news about companies worldwide, highlighting trade shows run by Deutsche Messe AG, HFUSA's parent company. As a result of the recent integration, when information such as an exhibiting company's mailing address is changed on the Exchangeworld.net website, the corresponding records in HFUSA's in-house systems are automatically updated (and vice versa).
This automatic data exchange saves Exchangeworld.net coordinator Sheri Llynn from redundant typing. "It allows me to best use my time and resources, rather than spending it on data entry," she said.
Automation also reduces the chance of introducing errors into the data, and cuts back the time it takes to complete a task. "Re-entering data by hand, as HFUSA had been in this instance, is just one of the many mundane tasks we can automate for our clients," said president of a2z, Inc., Rajiv Jain.
