We would like to congratulate Winter Fancy Food Show 2013 (Best Use of Event Technology) and Scientific Assembly 2012 (Best Use of a Mobile App) for being named finalists as well.

Trade Show Industry Poised for Stronger NSF Growth alt

Trade Show Industry Poised for Stronger NSF Growth

The Index reflects a stronger-than-expected 3.1 percent quarter-over-quarter growth in net square footage in Q1 of CY 2013. This is a stronger gain than was predicted at the end Q4 of 2012.

The Index also forecasts NSF growth to come in at a significantly higher rate of 5.9 percent for Q2 of FY 2013. This is good news for the tradeshow industry, given the fact that the U.S. economy is projected to grow at a more sedate pace overall. View the complete report here.

HIMSS Goes High Tech for 2014 Space Draw

Using iPads for the first time at the front door as people checked in was just one way things went much smoother this year, according to Elli Riley, HIMSS director of exhibits and meeting services.

Once exhibitors were in the room, they were directed to a table where, based on a point system, they were able to choose their spot for the next year and then, to make the process even more seamless using a2z, Inc.ís online contract process, they could sign and pay at nearby kiosks. FDIC engages thousands of attendees and fans with ChirpE Photo Booth

The FDIC ChirpE Photo Booth at the recently concluded FDIC 2013, the world's largest firefighter training conference and exposition, proved to be a big hit with attendees and online fans alike. Nearly 1500 photos were shared on FDIC's social media sites by the photo booth visitors who had fun posing in cool props and typing witty comments to show their appreciation for the event.

With 30K attendees at the show, FDIC saw it's viral reach extend to an exponentially larger network of people on Facebook with the ChirpE Photo Booth solution. The FDIC ChirpE Photo Booth albums can be viewed here.

National Restaurant Association has partnered with Pixe LLC to launch the NRA Pixe Photo Booth solution at NRA Show 2013

Attendees at NRA Show will be able to share their event experience with NRA fans and followers by visiting the NRA Pixe Photo Booth at three locations on the show floor. Pixe LLC, a2z's sister company, will be donating $2 to the NRA Education Foundation for every photo taken at the photo booths.
The Pixe Social solution will be showcased to the hospitality and restaurant industry at the show in Pixe's Booth 6679 on the exhibits floor. Click here to read the related press release and watch an engaging video to learn more.
