NAB Replaces Four Technologies with One Streamlined Solution
NAB's sales and operations were bogged down in four separate systems for managing exhibitor data. Data was redundant and not always in synch. Workflows were inefficient, and account executives spent an inordinate amount of time performing non-sales functions due to system limitations. They needed to spend more time selling. NAB chose a2zShow to replace the inefficient systems. To ensure a smooth transition, the a2z team met with sales and operations personnel to review their processes and develop a Statement of Work that detailed how these processes would be streamlined in a2zShow.
Large Association Improves Exhibitor Customer Service
a2z tools streamlined the exhibit management process for both exhibitors and the organization. The self-service website saved exhibitors from having to call show management to make changes or correct errors in their information. And it saved show management time managing these administrative tasks so the staff could focus on customer service and sales.

SEMI® Automates On-Site Booth Selection for SEMICON West 2009 Although SEMICON West automated the onsite selection process approximately five years ago — using computers to preview the floorplan, assign space and process payments — software, hardware or connectivity issues impacted the operation on occasion and forced staff to revert to the back-up processes. SEMI needed to streamline the onsite booth space selection process in order to complete assignments within the designated timeframe and improve customer experience and satisfaction. |

How a2z, Inc. helped InfoComm deliver a highly successful global event InfoComm08 (Las Vegas, June 18-20, 2008) was history’s largest annual conference and exhibition for audiovisual buyers and sellers. The size and complexity of the show resulted in several challenges to InfoComm: how to consolidate data from several loosely connected systems? How to better integrate the conference/session database management with overall event management? How to transition from a manual booth sales to an automated process to save time and reduce eventual errors?

American Association of Critical-Care Nurses Expedites Booth Sales "We like the a2zFloorPlan web-based system because it is online, real-time. People understand that they can use it 24/7. It’s there whenever they need it. I can come in to our Orange County, Calif., headquarters at 8 a.m. and have messages from the East Coast, where people have already been online looking at space."

American Optometric Association Improves Cash Flow "Our cash flow has probably accelarated by more than 60 days. We’ve set up our booth sales process so that when an exhibitor buys a booth using a2z’s online booth reservation, they are required to pay a 50 percent deposit at the time of purchase. Before a2z, we had the same rule but the checks could take up to three months to get here."

It’s not about doing it the a2z way, but working to incorporate industry best practices. We learned a lot about how to do trade shows better."

World Market Center Automates Management of 4 Million-Sq. Ft. Event "After the first show in July 2005, I started looking at how well it had gone and from a data management point of view, we used brute force to pull off that event. I could tell the systems wouldn’t be able to handle things going forward. We consolidated all those disparate systems in a2z, where the database is kept in synch using web services."

J. Spargo & Associates Automate Processes to Improve Productivity "Last week we did the AFCEA / USNI West show in San Diego and sold 300+ booths on site in three days with two people. Compared to previous years, it was easier, and everything went live to the website floor plan right away. We didn’t have to upload it back at the office, and we could invoice within a matter of days rather than months. It was all a2z."
