a2zShowTM Now Includes Wireless Features
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: 03/29/2001

a2z, Inc. today unveiled a new wireless application that allows people to access a trade show or conference’s website from cellular phones, handheld computers and other portable devices connected to the Internet. The wireless application system will be available with a2zShow™, an application used to manage and market live events online.

With the wireless application technology in place, attendees on the tradeshow floor can access the event’s website to search for or to browse a list of exhibitors, products or a calendar of events. When they find an item that interests them, they can then ‘click’ on it for further details. Select the link for an exhibiting company, for example, and the company’s booth number at the show, a list of products the company is promoting, and the company’s contact information will appear.

Attendees can also access their personalized conference and expo itineraries, features of a2zShow, from wireless devices. “Attendees will no longer have to flip through the exhibitor directory searching lists of exhibitors, circling the ones they want to visit and plotting them on a floor plan map. They can access all this information at any time on their wireless devices,” said President and CEO of a2z, Inc. Rajiv Jain.

A demonstration of a2z’s new wireless application system was recently introduced for Hannover Fairs USA’s CeBIT 2001. Visitors with wireless devices could easily navigate their way around the fair’s 26 exhibit halls by accessing general event information, and exhibitor location. You will need an Internet enabled cell phone or other wireless device to view this page.

“Cell phones and wireless devices that can be connected to the Internet have become commonplace throughout Europe at international events. U.S. show producers are becoming interested in making the comforts and conveniences associated with this technology available to their attendees and exhibitors,” says Jain. “a2z will continue to develop this technology because we believe the future holds even more in store.”
