Free Online Floor Plan Management Tool Celebrates One Year with Rave Reviews
COLUMBIA, Maryland (June 24, 2011) - a2z, Inc., a Columbia, MD-based event marketing and management software as a service developer, announced that FloorplanGenie is celebrating one year as the only free online floor plan management tool that helps organizations manage and share floor plans online in real time.
FloorplanGenie has had more than 250 events signed-up in the first year giving trade show organizers the ability to access, manage, and publish event floor plans via any internet enabled device. It is a great way to enable the use of technology for organizations that may have been hesitant to do so previously, due to cost.

FloorplanGenie publishes event floor plans to the web, including mobile and social media platforms in real-time, and streamlines the booth selection process for both exhibitors and show organizers. The color-coded floor plan is easy to read and navigate, the options for booth size and location are clearly visible, and the interactive floor plan and exhibitor list provide enhanced exhibitor visibility.
The application also provides attendees with easy-to-use printing options and is accessible on mobile devices and Facebook using a2z’s ChirpE Mobile and ChirpE Facebook apps.
Although the FloorplanGenie tool is offered free, a2z has developed a full complement of support tools including helpdesk services and video training. FloorplanGenie is available to trade show organizers for up to three events per year for events 10,000 net square feet (or 3,000 net sq. m.) in size or larger.
