a2z, Inc. Welcomes Carr to Lead Professional Services

COLUMBIA, Maryland (October 28, 2011) - Today, a2z, Inc., a developer of online, event management and marketing software, announces that Angela Carr has joined the organization as vice president, professional services. An events industry veteran, Carr will manage and lead the a2z’s project management team and oversee the further development and implementation of a2z’s innovative line of software and show-related services.

"Her stellar career track indicates her expertise in figuring out how things work, building strong teams and establishing processes. That and a deep understanding of our clients’ needs make her a tremendous asset to a2z. We are happy to have her on board, and I think our clients will truly benefit from her leadership."

Carr comes to a2z from the Association for Unmanned Vehicle Systems International (AUVSI) where she served as Vice President, Information Technology. Prior to her IT role, Carr worked as part of the AUVSI web and conference teams. Carr has also worked at CTIA, The Wireless Association, and its foundation, running point on convention operations and programming.

"I have worked every aspect of an event from the front line with attendees and exhibitors to interacting with decorators and establishing internal best practices for events and conferences. Carr holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Wesley College.
