InfoComm08 (Las Vegas, June 18-20, 2008), the largest annual conference and exhibition for audiovisual buyers and sellers was a huge success from the perspective: of attendees, exhibitors, InfoComm International®, and the AV industry. a2z, Inc’s innovative suite of products and services as well as a client-centric business solution contributed to the success of the event.

Columbia, MD (July 22, 2008) – a2z, Inc.’s integrated exhibit management and social networking solution helped deliver InfoComm08, the biggest  annual event in the history of the audiovisual industry. Working closely with the InfoComm team, a2z designed, hosted and managed a solution in accordance with InfoComm’s requirements. a2z provided InfoComm not only with technical expertise, but also its deep understanding of event management best practices gained by helping manage major events for many of its clients.

As a result of the close working partnership between InfoComm and a2z, the show was able to provide several cutting-edge, value-adding services to exhibitors and attendees. Networking, matchmaking, and appointment scheduling solutions were seamlessly integrated with intelligent marketing opportunities for exhibitors. Using the system, exhibitors were able to greatly enhance their marketing efforts since the system allowed focused delivery of messages to their targeted show attendees and strongest prospects.

At InfoComm08, the InfoComm sales staff and a2z worked together to pre-sell a record exhibit space area for InfoComm09, a significant improvement over the previous years. This is especially significant as exhibitors are opting only for shows that can demonstrate and deliver significant value as they experience the effects of economic uncertainty. This is further proof of how a2z’s client-centric business model convincingly delivers value to exhibitors and attendees, ensuring the success of InfoComm’s Industry leadership and growth.

A record 988 exhibitors, representing more than a 15 percent increase over the previous record of 855 in 2007. Exhibitors occupied more than 500,000 net square feet of exhibit and special events space, compared to 465,000 net square feet in 2007. This show featured 231 new exhibitors.
