Hanley Wood Sells ADAPT! to a2z

Hanley Wood Exhibitions, the building industry’s leading exhibition company, has sold the ownership rights of its ADAPT! database system to a2z, Inc., a web-based software provider that serves event planners and organizers with products that help increase and accelerate booth sales. The change in ownership was effective as of Friday, September 14, 2007.

ADAPT! (A Database Analyzer & Prospecting Tool) is a data management system that allows users to access historical and up-to-the-minute registration and prospect information. ADAPT! will be incorporated into the a2z suite of products as a new module.

ADAPT! was developed by Hanley Wood Exhibitions in 2001 to manage and market to its events’ attendees and prospects. The system was regularly updated to provide event managers the tools necessary to control their databases for maximum results. More than 75 events, most of which are in the Tradeshow Week 200, now benefit from the system, which is being used across the United States, Australia and Mexico.

Key features of ADAPT! include the ability to create targeted lists (mail, fax, phone and e-mail) for segmented promotion, automatic removal of duplicate records and current registrants, the option to generate revenue by renting targeted lists, streamlined fulfillment processes, access to real-time reports and much, much more.
